We are looking for a Data Scientist for our client, a top German public transport company.
Summary
• Term: 8 October 2024 – 31 December 2024 (58 workdays)
• Location: nearshore Germany, 3 on-site days
• Project: Machine Learning-based Models and Pipelines in the AWS Cloud
Project context
The services of the contractor (service provider) will ensure that appropriate data analysis and predictive models are designed and developed. Support is also needed in conducting exploratory data analysis and identifying patterns and trends. This requires the planning and coordination of workshops on data analysis. Advice on the commissioning and optimisation of data processing processes is required.
Services to be provided
• The task will be to drive the development of novel innovative AWS cloud-based machine learning models and pipelines
• Development of models for data analysis and prediction
• Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends
• MLOps pipeline development
• Cooperation with other IT experts to optimize data processing processes
• Creation of prototypes and models to validate data analyses
Must have requirements
• Experience with the development of predictive models: At least 3 years of experience, proven by at least 1 project reference
• Knowledge of data science methods and machine learning algorithms: At least 3 years of experience, proven by at least 1 project reference
• Knowledge of the programming languages Python/SQL: At least 3 years of experience, proven by at least 1 project reference
• Experience in exploratory data analysis: At least 3 years of experience, proven by at least 1 project reference
Target technical requirements
• Data science/machine learning skills: XGBoost, pandas, data mining, feature engineering: At least 3 years of experience, proven by at least 1 project reference
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate large amounts of information, with attention to detail and accuracy: At least 2 years of experience, proven by at least 1 project reference
• AWS Tools/Services: S3, Lambda, Docker, EC2, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, BO-TO3, aws-cli: At least 2 years of experience, proven by at least 1 project reference
