We are looking for a DevOps Engineer for our client, a top German public transport company.
Summary

• Location: nearshore Germany, 3 on-site days
• Project: Machine Learning-based Models and Pipelines in the AWS Cloud
Project context
The services of the contractor (service provider) will ensure that the appropriate infrastructure and platform tools are implemented and maintained. It also needs help automating software delivery, configuration, and management processes. This requires the planning and coordination of workshops to improve continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). Advice on smooth application in
production and meeting business requirements is needed.
Services to be provided
• The task will be to drive the development of novel innovative AWS cloud-based machine learning models and pipelines
• Implementation and maintenance of infrastructure and platform tools such as cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS), orchestration and management tools
• Automation of software delivery, configuration, and management processes, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Creation of APIs and integration of data into applications
• Development of scripts and tools to automate repeatable tasks and processes
• Working with developers to ensure that applications in production run smoothly and meet the client’s business needs.
Must have requirements
• Experiences with AWS Services and Tools: At least 3 years of experience, proven by at least 1 project reference
• Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines: At least 3 years of experience, proven by at least 1 project reference
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.): At least 3 years of experience, proven by at least 1 project reference
• Experience with infrastructure management tools (e.g. CloudFormation, Ansible): At least 3 years of experience, proven by at least 1 project reference
Target technical requirements
• AWS Tools/Services: S3, Lambda, Docker, EC2, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, BOTO3, aws-cli: At least 3 years of experience, proven by at least 1 project reference
• Experiences with containerization: At least 3 years of experience, proven by at least 1 project reference
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Instana): At least 2 years of experience, proven by at least 1 project reference
• Experience in automating software releases: At least 2 years of experience, proven by at least 1 project reference
