For our client danish company we are looking for a new colleague for Network Security team. The team is responsible for large Cisco datacentre network solutions, network security solutions in the datacentre and at customer premises. Your position is mainly responsible for network security solutions but it is expected that you understand network as well.
As a network operations specialist in Network Security team, you work closely with colleagues in our international network departments to operate and maintain our customers‘ network solutions. They have a total of approximately 40+ network specialists allocated in Denmark, Prague and the Philippines.
Your responsibilities
- Operations, maintenance, and compliance of customers’ network solutions
- 2nd and 3rd level troubleshooting
- Patch Management
- Preparing and maintaining documentation
Work with the following security technologies:
- Cisco Firepower & ASA firewalls
- PaloAlto firewalls
- VPN
- Two-factor-authentication
- AlgoSec
- Zscaler
On top of that you will also have the oportunity to work with:
Cisco Nexus & Catalyst (routing & switching)
Cisco Meraki
Cisco SDN/DNA, Cisco ISE
Network Wireless (Cisco WLC)
HP-Aruba
Your weekly work schedule will look the following:
regular workin hour and
ca. once a month morning (6-14) or evening shift (14-22)
ca. once a month weekend shift, morning or evening
ca. once every two months oncall for the whole week
Offices Prague 5 – 2x a week in the office
Around Brno/Ostrava-coworking centers for meeting other colleagues. And 1-2 days a month in the Prague office.
Your qualification and experience
- The ideal candidate has about 4 years hands-on experience in large Cisco datacentre network environments or large enterprise solutions
- Experience is required from operations
- You have all-around skills within network security technologies:
- Cisco Firepower & ASA firewalls, PaloAlto firewalls, VPN, two-factor-authentication
- Your background in formal IT Operations must be grounded in the ITIL processes
- You have an updated Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security certification
- You have Unix or scripting knowledge
- You speak and write English fluently
