As a member of the global Sales&Marketing Team, the Product Marketing Manager will focus on developing effective product marketing strategies to communicate the features and benefits of our products. To participate on market research on current trending products, influence business strategy, support sales team, develop market positioning & messaging around products and solutions within digital banking. He is about to establish ‘voice of the customer’ within our company, working closely with the Sales & Product team and internal graphic designer to brainstorm ideas, create concepts & collaborate with the team to deliver campaigns from development to final outcome.
Principal Duties – Day to day basis:
· Build on product messaging that sets our products apart from others in the market to give them a unique selling point
· Communicate the vision and value of our products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process
· Plan and participate in the launch of new services and products which involve several different departments
· Obtain insights into customers’ usage of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas, through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data
· Create content such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts
· Speak about products to both external and internal audiences
· Research competitor offerings
Strategic – key skills:
· Collaborative skills: As a product marketing manager you will have to collaborate with multiple teams across the business. This will often include the sales and marketing department, the development department, product management and senior executives.
· Communication skills: The ability to speak and write to a high standard is crucial. You will frequently have to present products and write engaging copy, telling the ‘story’ of products, for various marketing channels.
· Research skills: A crucial part of being a product marketing manager is gaining insight into customer needs and experiences. Analysis of data, surveys and customer interviews will be part of this mix and you need to be well acquainted with these techniques.
Qualifications
· 3-5 years of relevant experience
· Excellent writing skills both in Czech & English
· Ability to own projects, demonstrate good judgment when working with team members and take initiative
· Experience managing day-to-day changes at every level of detail
