Our international company in 19 offices globally is looking for an android developer for a main product of the company – technical solution that enables clients to stream their media content to end users.
As a Senior Android Engineer, you will be evolving and improving our main product according to product roadmap and in collaboration with other product Android engineers, the Product Owner, QA and back-end engineers.

Your role:
- playing an essential part in building the next-generation of VOD Android applications
- seeing your work engage with millions of users worldwide
- building your skills in a supportive, collaborative and Agile environment, working closely with passionate UX, BA and back-end teams
Reaquirements:
- you like to stay up-to-date with technology trends, particularly with the Android SDKs and frameworks
- you strive to deliver systematic fixes and high-quality features
- you anticipate problems that others might have while using his/her code – and writes documentation or samples to help them
- you appreciate peer review and understands the importance of QA and release deadlines
- you are willing to work as an active team player
Technical skills:
- At least 5 years experience in Java development
- At least 3 years expeience in Android development
- A verifiable portfolio of work
- Object Oriented programming, analysis and design
- Git or other DVCS, Continuous Integration
- rxJava2
- Dagger2
- Writing Unit/Integration/Component Tests
Welcome skills: Retrofit, Swagger (aka Open API specification), Streaming technologies and platforms (i.e. DASH, HLS, ExoPlayer), Android TV, Chromecast
