The Back Testing platform supports the data capture, calculation and processing to support the testing of the Basel 3 Counterparty Credit Risk IMM models. The objective of testing is a set of IT processes to compare and report on the output of the IMM models against realised values, which is mandatory under IMM approval.
What will you be doing?
The main function of the job is to act as a senior developer, working in Agile Scrum/Kanban environment. The candidate will work as a part of a local team and liaise regularly with colleagues in other regions. The members of the team interact with the end users to understand their requirements and build solution pertaining to that. The main tasks for this role will be to build new C# server-side code (with an in-house orchestration framework) to run the back test processing as an upgrade to existing Database centric processing solution.

What we’re looking for:
- excellent C# .NET development skills
- excellent DevOps, GIT, TeamCity, testing and Agile development techniques
- knowledge of database structures and ability to write basic SQL.
- Bachelors degree in an Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics or Scientific discipline
- understanding of the full SDLC lifecycle including both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- understanding of key components of Windows server and tuning of application code to utilise them
- strong ability to analyse data; attention to detail and good quantitative ability
- ability to build productive working relationships with other IT groups, business users and support teams
- excellent written and spoken English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Skills that will help you in the role:
- previous experience in investment banking, or in the financial industry, or Knowledge of finance, investment banking, and/or trading
- credit risk business domain knowledge.
- experienced in providing support and resolving issues for systems in production.
- experience of understanding/ classifying data and data structures.
